On 29 January 2022, the Vice-Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nurmaganbetov Zhandos Demesinovich visited the RSE Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the visit, Vice Minister of Energy Zhandos Demesinovich met with Karakozov Batyrzhan Kumekbayevich general director of RSE INP ME RK and the staff of the Institute, at the session they discussed a number of issues on further development of the Institute as a whole.
The meeting included a working session during which a presentation on the Institute’s activities was given and current topics were discussed, in particular general director of the Institute talked about the work done on the “Hydrogen Programme” and about future plans for the Competence Centre on the basis of the Institute.
The Vice Minister of Energy was given a tour of the Institute of Nuclear Physics during which, he visited the WWR-K research reactor, Cyclone-30,U-150M, UCP-2-1, ILU-10, centre for Integrated environmental research and the new ESEC chemistry laboratory
