On June 26, 2025, a delegation from the Institute of Nuclear Physics (INP) visited the Laboratory of Subatomic Physics and Cosmology (LPSC), a joint unit of the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), Université Grenoble Alpes, and the Grenoble Institute of Nuclear Physics. During the visit, a working meeting was held with Dr. Adrien Bidaud, Professor at the Grenoble INP. Professor Bidaud showcased the LPSC’s state-of-the-art educational and research infrastructure, including:
- Laboratory and practical training facilities designed for undergraduate and graduate students in nuclear engineering;
- A software-hardware simulator that replicates the full operational cycle of research and power reactors, enabling students and engineers to model neutron-physical processes and virtually test control modes without access to active facilities.
The discussions primarily focused on developing a human resources program to support the nuclear reactors planned for construction in Kazakhstan. Both parties agreed to draft a Cooperation Plan.
