Science Has No Boundaries: The International School- Conference "Atom. Science. Technologies" starts its work at the INP

Science brings together. Today at the Institute of Nuclear Physics in Almaty started the III International School-Conference "Atom. Science. Technologies", devoted to the Day of Science in Kazakhstan. This annual event has already become a significant platform for meeting young researchers with leading scientists from Kazakhstan and abroad.

This year's conference brought together 130 participants from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Italy, Indonesia and Russia – which is twice as many as the previous conference. They include students and staff from leading universities and research centers, including the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov, MEPhI and the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR), NNC RK.

The event is being held in a hybrid format - offline and online - which has enabled the geography of participants to be broadened and international cooperation to be strengthened. The conference was opened by Mr. Nurzhan Saduyev, Deputy Director General of INP for Scientific Work. In his speech, he emphasized that such scientific schools play a key role in developing the research skills of young specialists and promoting science in the international arena.

Within the framework of the conference, several sections have been organized, each focusing on the most important areas of modern science and technology:

  • Nuclear Physics
  • Materials Science and Technology of New Materials
  • Radiation Ecology and Methods of Analysis
  • Physics and Technology of Nuclear Reactors
  • Nuclear and Radiation Technologies in Medicine, Industry and Agriculture.

Special attention will be paid to the latest achievements in these fields. The best papers of the conference will be published in the prestigious British scientific publication - Journal of Physics: Conference Series.

"Atom. Science. Technology" is not just a conference, but a real platform for the exchange of ideas, knowledge and inspiration, helping to strengthen scientific ties and support the next generation of researchers.
