On January 29, the Institute of Nuclear Physics (INP) and Astana IT University (AITU) signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of information technology.
This partnership aims to implement joint projects, exchange expertise, and introduce advanced innovative solutions into science. The document on bilateral cooperation was signed by the General Director of INP, Sayabek Sakhiyev, and the Rector of AITU, Askar Hikmetov.
During the meeting, the parties discussed promising areas of joint work, including:
• developing scientific potential through artificial intelligence (AI) methods;
• integrating AI into the design and production of semiconductor materials;
• incorporating digital tools into scientific research;
• creating joint innovative projects and technological solutions.As part of the visit, Askar Hikmetov also familiarized himself with the operation of the VVR-K research reactor and the institute’s activities in the field of advanced scientific developments.
The parties intend to actively develop cooperation, implement joint scientific projects, and introduce innovative technologies that will contribute to the development of the country’s science and industry.
