Head of the Astana branch of the Institute of Nuclear Physics Maksim Zdovets was awarded the honorary title “Patriot of the Year” in the category Science and Education” at the Republican Forum of patriots, which was held on 4th of June 2022 in Nur-Sultan, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This honorary title was awarded to the worthiest representatives of culture, public and state figures and scientists of our country.
In his response speech, Maksim Zdorovets noted that the laws of physics work everywhere, and here the law of energy saving works, i.e. the more power and energy you give to the state, the more the state will create conditions for you, for the development and implementation of all ideas. And the results are most eloquent: the works made by Kazakh scientists are in the top 1% of most cited works in the world. In addition, in the last 10 years, based on the accelerator of heavy ions DC-60, scientists from all inhabited continents of the world conducted their experiments in our scientific centre. And this is the result of our work.
