December 17, Sayabek Sakhiyev, Director General of the Institute of Nuclear Physics, met with Serik Meirmanov, Vice-Rector of Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU).
Ritsumeikan Asia-Pacific University is one of Japan's leading international universities, renowned for its extensive academic mobility and active interdisciplinary research, with a focus on training specialists in science, technology, and global governance.
Sayabek Sakhiyev presented the Institute's research and production capabilities, after which the two sides discussed prospects for potential collaboration. They agreed to continue bilateral and multilateral meetings to establish further cooperation.
Serik Meirmanov is the first Kazakhstani to hold such a high-ranking position in the management team of a Japanese university.
