The coordination meeting on the IAEA project “Enhancing utilisation and safety of research reactors” was held between 28 to 30 April 2025 in Vienna. The topic of discussion was a new project plan for years of 2026-2029. INP was represented by the head of Strategy and Sustainability Department, Adilzhan Serikov, who proposed to organize the following IAEA events with the project:
2026 - Training on neutron analytical techniques;
2027 - Effective utilisation of research reactors for sustainable operation.
In case of endorsement of the project, INP will host the aforementioned IAEA events in the upcoming years.
