In accordance with the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 4, 2025 "On measures to implement the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 18, 2025 "On measures to further improve the public administration system of the Republic of Kazakhstan" the Republican State Enterprise "Institute of Nuclear Physics" of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been renamed as the Republican State Enterprise “Institute of Nuclear Physics” under the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Atomic Energy.
Renaming is due to changes in the structure of central government bodies for improving the efficiency of public administration and developing the country's nuclear industry.
