Institute of Nuclear Physics and Institute of Chemical Sciences named after A.B. Bekturov signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of science and innovation.
This memorandum is aimed at strengthening interaction in the field of scientific research, technical development and exchange of experience in the fields of chemistry and nuclear physics.
According to the memorandum, the INP and the ICS are going to work together on the implementation of various projects and programs aimed at developing scientific and technical cooperation and innovative solutions. Key areas of cooperation include organizing scientific internships, joint conferences and seminars, as well as joint research projects and grants.
The Parties further also undertake to promote integration of international scientific organizations and implementations of activities aimed at development of innovations and clean energy. The Institute of Chemical Sciences is one of the oldest research institutes in Kazakhstan. The Institute carries out actual scientific programs based on the needs of country's economic and social development, taking into account the trends in the development of world science.
Currently, the Institute is successfully developing research to produce new original domestic preparations with a wide range of biological activity for medicine and agriculture, studying the relationship between their chemical, physical and biological properties and spatial structure. Progressive technologies are being created for utilization mineral and technogenic raw materials into inorganic products, including environmentally friendly fertilizers, composite and biomaterials.
