The working meeting of the delegation of the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics SB RAS was held on March 28 in Novosibirsk. The delegation included Director General Sayabek Sakhiyev and Deputy Head of the Scientific-Technical Department of Accelerator Technologies Igor Danko. The prospects for joint research were discussed during the discussions with the Russian colleagues.
The main focus was on the development of radiation technologies based on industrial electron accelerators, as well as cooperation in the field of nuclear physics, high-energy physics and elementary particle physics. In addition, the INP RK delegation visited the production sites where ELV and ILU series accelerators are developed and manufactured, and also visited the VEPP-2000 electron-positron collider.
Cooperation between two institutes opens up the prospects for advanced research, combining the efforts of scientists for new achievements in science.
