INP employee took part in the JAEA international instructor training program

Junior researcher of the Atomic Energy Safety Problems Laboratory at the Institute of Nuclear Physics, Zhanar Bugybay, completed training in the international Instructor Training Course (ITC) in Reactor Engineering.

The program was organized by the Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) with the support of the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT).

Participation in the program included one month of intensive training aimed at developing human potential in the peaceful use of nuclear energy and enhancing the professional competencies of specialists.

As part of the ITC, participants undergo a comprehensive course: lectures by leading JAEA experts, practical exercises, process simulations, and visits to Japanese nuclear research and training facilities. The program develops the knowledge and skills necessary for further teaching of the national FTC (Follow-up Training Course).

Participation of an Institute employee in the ITC program strengthens the organization's human resources and expands international collaboration in nuclear science and technology.
