The meeting of the Working Groups of the International Network for Nuclear Security Training and Support Centres was held at the IAEA headquarters in Vienna, Austria, from 20 to 23 January 2025.
The purpose of the event is to advance the collaborative work on the Working group action plans of the International Network for Nuclear Security Training and Support Centres (NSSC Network) to support the systematic development and sustainability of human resource, technical support and scientific support programmes.
Representatives of the INP took part in the Meeting from Kazakhstan: Izmailova Natalya, Head of the Nuclear Security Training Centre (NSTC) and Idrissova Marzhan, Head of the Training Unit of the NSTC. After the plenary session, discussions were held in groups. The INP representatives took part in the work of Group B (exchange of experience and best practices) on the following topics:
• Information management tools of the NSSC Network;
• Transfer of the NSSC Network information to a new platform;
• Expanding awareness of the IAEA Member States about the activities of the NSSC Network.
Proposals made by the meeting participants will be considered by the Secretariat of the NSSC Network and presented at the Annual Meeting.
