The delegation of the Institute was represented by Director General Sayabek Sakhiev and Head of the Department of Strategic Development and International Cooperation Raushan Kabatayeva. The British delegation was represented by the First Secretary for Economy and Climate Change of the British Embassy Selena McGuinness and Counselor for Policy and Management Larisa Volkova.
The agenda of the meeting was to discuss the establishment of cooperation between the INP and the British Embassy and possible ways of cooperation in the nuclear industry of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, Selena McGuinness expressed great interest in possible cooperation between the Embassy and the Institute of Nuclear Physics. Director General of the Institute Sayabek Sakhiev emphasized the importance of international cooperation in the field of training specialists for the future of the nuclear power plant. He noted that the participation of foreign colleagues in the process of education and science plays a key role.
