On the eve of Children’s Day, the Branch Trade Union of Nuclear Industry Workers organized and held a chess tournament for the first time, which was attended by children of workers from nuclear industry enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The competition was attended by 65 children from 16 enterprises and subsidiaries and affiliates of the Company in the age categories: 6-8 years, 9-12 years and 13-15 years old.
According to the results of the tournament in the category among boys 6-8 years old, Talgat Zhanali, the son of an employee of the RSE Institute of Nuclear Physics Aznabaev Damir Talgatovich, a researcher at the Laboratory of High Energy Physics and Elementary Particles of the Department of Nuclear Physics, took the 1st place.
