Sealed sources of ionizing radiation for industry
The Institute of Nuclear Physics in Kazakhstan is the only manufacturer of sealed sources of ionizing radiation from the isotope Ir-192, Co-60, Sb-124, Cd-109, Tl-204 for industrial purposes. Isotope production is carried out at the research nuclear reactor WWR-K and isochronous cyclotron U-150. Quality and reliability of sources of ionizing radiation produced complies with local and international standards.
Sources of gamma radiation with isotope Ir-192
Used in industrial flaw detection with radiographic control of weld joints and base metal.
